WHAT IS YOUR DESIGN PROCESS?
Our global partners are just half the story of how a garment is made. It takes one year from the time we first sketch a new style in Sydney, Australia, to when the finished product arrives at your door.
We have an in-house design team including Natalie and her team of designers, textile designers, technical designers and production and development team, all working together to create MOS magic. Once a collection is designed we take it to our talented teams around the world for sampling and finally production.
There’s a seismic shift transforming the fashion industry and we continue to embrace new technology and adopt innovative methods across all areas of the business. We research sustainable practices and incorporate them into our business; from the design of the collections to transitioning to renewable energy to store fit outs. As designers, change and innovation are key drivers, and we believe that luxury and style don’t have to be compromised in order to be ethical and sustainable. Above all we are focused on making the best conscious and sustainable decisions at every stage of product development.
ARE YOU LOOKING AT REDUCING YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT?
We aim to minimise our logistical footprint by reducing the amount of transport required in freighting fabrications, trims and garments. Where possible we purchase materials locally to our manufacturing location and group shipments together to avoid unnecessary greenhouse emissions caused by the aviation industry.
DO YOU HAVE ANY CERTIFICATIONS?
Depending on the fibre being produced, we look for relevant certifications from suppliers to ensure we are sourcing from companies that can encourage our sustainability goals.
